Did I Mention I'm Crazy?

Oh no… Oh yes!

Now, if this is your first time here (or your second or third) I bet you’re wondering what’s this site about? You can see a spiffy menu on top that claims we have News, Previews and Reviews and on the main page (next to this post) you’ll see names of games, comics and whatnot. Oh no, I hear you think, not another of those review sites that claims to know all about the games (and I don’t even know what those other things are doing here). No wait, don’t click on that spicy red cross on top just yet.

We’re not just any (p)review site like there are a million on the web! No, we’re different! Yeah, I bet you heard that one before, just let me explain. We don’t preview or review games, comics and whatnot itself! No, we don’t. We review all things that are connected to these things; the goodies, treasure, loot! So you’ll find no typical (game) reviews here! Only special editions, figures, plushes, key chains, … you name it. Everything we can get our hands on that has something to do with something we like, you can find the preview, review or whatever here.
Okay, and sometimes the items themselves… Can’t help it, sorry.

So, again, welcome to DIMIC: Did I mention I’m Crazy?

Oh, and don’t forget to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter! We like that.

    Finish Him!!

Who didn't hear this sentence a lot as a child? And I'm not talking about on the schoolyard. I'm talking about all those hours at our grandparents house, playing side to side with my brother on our SNES with a borrowed copy of Mortal Kombat! And it's about time that there's going to be some decent collectibles from this game. And who's better in doing that than Pop Culture Shock?

It’s blue and it runs fast! Or is it yellow?

When I saw the first one in a local games shop, I was sold. Now, about two years later, the second one arrived and it got me thinking. And sadly, not in a good way...

    My two witches

Just like I promised in my preview of old Capt' Hook, here's my review of the two great ladies who proceeded him. I'm talking about Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty and the Evil Queen from Snow White!

‘Cause my head’s too big and my arms too short

This was the only funny thing in that blasted movie Meet the Robinsons. The rest was a total drag... But that's not what I want to tell here. No, my question to you is: do you want a Dino? Because I absolutely do! Even more after watching a certain YouTube movie.Apparently dinosaurs think that kids from an elementary school near Sydney are a good snack as they got a visit from a baby dinosaur. This little one was a 6.5 feet tall Tyrannosaurus Rex that scared the crap out of those youngsters. I wouldn't be scared, I'd take him home. I'll promise I'll walk him and feed him and clean him and love him forever! Can I have him? Can I? Can I? View this awesome creature by clicking on Continue Reading. If that's not nice.

    The King is here!

Finally, the long awaited arrival of one of my favorite kings has come to pass. And I must say, I'm deeply impressed with this royal member of the African nation called, Wakanda.

    Nerdy girls need love too

Nerd. It's not really an offending word in my opinion but rather more like a title for me. It's like Goth, Skater, ... just a way of living. When you say nerd most of you will automatically think of a goofy guy with big glasses and absolute no taste of fashion whats so ever. But believe me when I say that there are some nerdy, geeky girls out there too. Look at me, I caught one. Some of them can even sing (more or less) and make cool songs about the geeky world we live in. One of them is Amy Lee Radigan. Her first song was "Nerdy Girls Need Love Too" and is, as a matter of fact, a pretty good and catchy song. Okay, she doesn't have the golden voice but good enough and the lyrics are nice and full of geek related stuff. She has a second song "Save Me Mario" what is also good, but I really prefer the first one. Amy will release her first album one of these days with the wonderful title "From Gotham to Gallifrey" and stacked with 10 songs full of nerd pride!! More info on Amy Lee Radigan's website. It’s business. Monkey business!

Look what I got in the mail today! Well, actually, I got a postal slip in the mail yesterday and went to the post office today to pick the package up. But close enough. It was a nice package from my friends over at the StarWarsShop. Well, I paid for that package so technically, we're not friends but hé, let a girl dream. edit: since the change on the StarWarsShop, they don't offer this product anymore. I included a link to the manufacturer who still does.

    Nintendo does it again!

I was skeptic... to say the least. But when I tested it myself I have to admit, I'm impressed! Of what I'm talking about? My, the 3DS of course!

    Land ahoy!

You know I love to play games. On PC I mainly play The Sims, Age of Empires and, of course, Anno. I loved 1701 and 1404 (never played 1602 or 1503, Ingis did). So when I heard there's a new one in the making I was trilled! And that's an understatement!
