    She’s getting old…

Twenty-two years ago, my brother got an awesome game on his PC. A PC I wasn't allowed to touch. Which meant of course that I tried to guess his password each and every time he wasn't looking. And when I succeeded, I got to play this awesome game. Never got passed the training level, but hey, I was only eight at the time...

Sacrifice is a choice you make.

I was skeptical about the Tomb Raider reboot last year but on the other hand, the series definitely needed a good reboot under it's arse. But when Ingis played it, my skepticism was replaced by optimism. I loved the reboot! And now, Gaming Heads is going to release a statue based on the young Lara Croft.

[UPDATED] When all seemed lost, I found a truth.

It's been fairly quiet lately and of course, that never lasts long. So, it comes to no surprise that when somebody announces something, it's quite big! The new Lara Croft game hasn't been released yet over here but we already got some merchandise of it. And now, there's also going to be some lithographs and the like. Update: Things are moving a little weird with this sale... Read the update!

Grand entrances are always impractical, that’s what makes them grand.

When she was sneaked for the first time back in 2011 (oh, so long ago) I couldn't contain my happiness and posted said sneak here on DIMIC. Exactly one week later I posted the full review of this amazing game heroine. And now, a year and a week later she has finally arrived! Check this review to see if she's all that was promised or not!

    And we were singing…

Oh, how I love music. Would love to be able to play an instrument myself. Always wanted to play the violin but my parents never allowed me... Poor me. If you hit the Read more button, I'll show you someone who can play the violin, and the piano. And pretty damn decent too. And, what's really cool, is that she doesn't pick some lame old songs to play on. No sirree, she plays on video game songs. And what makes it even more amazing is that she plays without any sheet music! Purely on ear!

How does that make your wallet rumble?

I don't usually do that... You know, posting a sneak peak on something. I usually like to wait until the pre-orders are online before informing you of new goodies. But, Lara really touches a weak spot with me and I couldn't contain my happiness when I saw that there's going to be another premium format by SideShow Collectibles. So here's the complete information on that awesome new statue!

    I make my own luck.

I like Lara Croft. Always have. I remember looking over my big brother's shoulder when I was little, just to see him play the first Tomb Raider on his computer. When I was old enough, aka able to crack his passwords, I even tried playing the game. Didn't got that far 'cause I couldn't save, but I loved it. I've always wondered why there aren't any nice, high quality, statues made of her. Until now!
