Will Mario stop trying to save this timid princess?

Being stuck in a place without internet sucks even though it felt good to be cut off for a while. Just that fear that we’d miss anything… But we’re back and what’s better to kick off the new year with a review? And what better way to start a new year with something old?

Orchid Seed is one of the most known companies that makes NSFW figures and I still got quite a few of their older pieces on my wishlist. At the start, this Princess Pea…aiah… Bitch also was one of those pieces we wanted but after much debate we decided to cancel her because it was just too much to spend on a figure that didn’t completely fit in our collection. Don’t forget that shops over here asked about 100-120euro for her while she actually was about ~60euro. Yeah, we didn’t buy at AmiAmi or the likes back then, so we did cancel her but she never completely left our mind. I still liked her just because she’s just so wrong. So this year at F.A.C.T.S, I was thrilled to find one and for the ‘normal’ price too (~50euro, not the 140euro that’s on the sticker). So in the end, she still ended up in our collection.

I absolutely adore her! The penis-man-mushroom is delightfully weird and disturbing, she doesn’t have paint misses or other flaws apart from three (and one annoyance) but nothing mayor. One of the ‘flaws’ is that what most cast-offs have; hard to close clothing. But it isn’t that big a deal for me personally since you can only see it from a certain angle. And said angle isn’t that interesting to display.
My other ‘problem’ with her is her elongated neck but luckily, like with the top, it’s only apparent from a certain angle.
And lastly, which is the biggest gripe I have with this figure, is the ugly seam on her head. Why can’t figure companies get that seam right so often? It would have bothered me less if they had used that seam to switch between no-crown and yes-crown. Which brings me to my annoyance of this figure; the crown.
As you can see on the 16th and 22nd pictures, it’s perfectly round. Why make the crown perfectly round when her head isn’t? Now you have to perfectly balance the thing on her head. Not that it is so hard but still. That’s also why I said that they should have used the seam on the head to make it a switch-out part. Just include another front hair thingie with a crown attached and voila! Problem solved.

But even with these issues I have with this figure, which sound like more of a big deal then they are (apart from the ugly seam, it’s still ugly), I love it still. It’s one of the more original caricatures I’ve seen yet. And I can’t help it. I love these naughty figures…
