Most ‘true’ fans will probably disagree with me, but I just love Kotobukiya’s Tekken Tag Tournament 2 bishoujo’s! And looksie, the artist made them all!
The artist I’m talking about is Shunya Yamashita and he’s also the one that made the art for the few TTT2 bishoujo’s that have been previewed already here on DIMIC (Christie Monteiro and Alisa Bosconovitch, Asuka Kasama, Jaycee and Lili de Rochefort). But my, he certainly didn’t hold back after that. He basically drew the entire Tekken cast including all those non-humans which, in my eyes, is simply amazing!
Just don’t go bouncing up and down in joy just yet. Koto hasn’t given any indication that these will all be made. But, yes I’m giving a but, but, since they are also going to do a Tekken Bishonen line (somewhat the same as bishoujo but male instead of female) the others might be very well created after all. Yes, you can bounce up and down in joy if you like. Just don’t forget to actually look at the pretty pictures too.
I don’t think I’m going to buy all the guys and/or the in-betweens. Some are a no-doubter but most are, for me at least, a bit ‘meh’. I do love the female designs. What do you think?
