Did I Mention I'm Crazy?

Hi, I’m Alisa! Now you must die!

Kotobukiya is expanding their Tekken Bishoujo line pretty damn fast. The first one, Christie Monteiro, will hit the shelves somewhere around now. But before this one comes to a release, the fourth in this series is already officially announced.

To recapitulate, we had Christie Monteiro and Alisa Bosconovitch announced on last SDCC. Pretty fast after that, pictures of  a finalized Christie sculpt were seen floating around the internet. And like I said, Christie will hit the stores sometime these days and from what I’ve already seen, she lives up to what I’m expecting from her.

Alisa, the second announced Tekken girl, is in pretty much all the merchandise stores up for pre-order and she will arrive around August. Koto has already full sculpted and painted pictures from her and posted them on the internet. By what I can see, this line is a full hit. To give you a bit of bio about this character I will quote our dear friend Wikipedia:

Alisa Bosconovitch is a character that has appeared in Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion. She is an android created by Doctor Boskonovitch able to sprout wing-like jets from her back allowing her to briefly fly at great speed during fights, sprout chainsaws from her arms (this is one of her stances, “Destroy Form”), and remove her head during moves such as one of her grapples, “Head Explosion”. She has pink hair and green eyes.

On this moment there are three other Tekken girls in the pipeline. For now, they only exists on ‘paper’, but they are definitively coming. Just check the artworks and start giving Kotobukiya all your money!!!

The next announced characters are (in the order they were announced):

  • Asuka Kasama : Asuka Kazama is introduced in Tekken 5 and she has returned for Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, Tekken 6, andTekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion. She is mostly known to be the cousin of the series protagonist and lead character, Jin Kazama. Asuka is surprisingly brash and arrogant. Though, her profile states that she breaks up fights regularly, she seems to have no qualms about fighting herself and even seemingly revels in it.
  • JC : Jaycee is an alter-ego for Julia Chang to make her appearance inTekken Tag Tournament 2. She was at first unnamed, but was later given the name Jaycee. She is a luchador, but her fighting style has not yet been revealed. Although, it has been shown she has some old moves she had as Julia, as well as some new ones.
  • Lili de Rochefort: (full name Emilie de Rochefort) is a Monegasque 16 year-old girl (17 in Tekken 6) in the Tekken fighting game series. Lili is the only daughter of Mr. Rochefort, while her mother has never been mentioned in the Tekken series. She resides in a very luxurious suburban mansion with her father, and her butler, Sebastian.

So there are already 5 of this deadly girls announced and hopefully Kotobukiya will continue this great line, but I’m pretty sure they will. For now I’m more waiting on the first announcement in their Bishoujo Street Fighter line, I find it rather strange there isn’t even a bit of artwork released. I’m still hoping they will announce other great fighting game licences to get ‘Bishoujo-ed’ like Dead or Alive, Mortal Kombat, King of Fighters and Soul Calibur to name a few.
