I’m Ikaryas, I’m the one who came up with this idea and decided on the name given to this little project. Did I Mention I’m Crazy comes forth out of the strange looks we get when people see our collection.

Did I Mention I'm Crazy?

She loves you… She loves you not…

It looks like Mandy-week since I’m here, yet again, with something related to the little vixen.

And here I thought that I would be only waiting for the new Electric Tiki Mandy statue… But then I saw another Mandy statue on the internet! This time from a company I haven’t even heard before. I say company but it actually doesn’t look like it’s been made by a company but more just by a man called Anders Ehrenborg. And while I don’t know any of his work, a brief look through his portfolio already made me squeal with delight. I absolutely adore his work! So much in fact that I’m really, really, REALLY tempted to buy his Banana Girl and Nimue statues.

But I digress. His Mandy is looking, like his other two sculpting projects, absolutely AMAZING. Just look at her!

Don’t you just want to reach into the screen and just grab her? I know I want to.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of information yet. So far, we only know that she’s 11 inches tall (~28cm) and that he’s offering a regular and an exclusive edition. The regular will have an edition size of 200, while the exclusive will be super limited to just 50 pieces. While the exclusive is just a variant with a soap bar instead of a flower and holding a bath-brush (is that even a word?), she’s different enough to make me want to buy both. Also, by changing her facial expression by just a bit, he managed to give it a totally different vibe. I just can’t choose… Here’s hoping that she won’t be too expensive.

When I asked about the price-tag and the release date, this is what I got in reply:

We currently don’t know what the final price-tag will be. It’ll depend on the production cost which is still uncertain.

Date of order is not set either, but we’re hoping for the majority of them to be done in time for Christmas.

And Dean will have a few prototypes with him to SDCC 2014 for those who want to see her in real life before that.

So, any of you that are going to SDCC, please stop by Dean’s booth and snap some pictures for me. I would really appreciate it. Arrggg, I can’t wait to finally be able to order her! I really hope she’ll be live soon.
