At least, mine is…

I’m talking about Captain Hook, the Disney villain from the animation Peter Pan.
You know, the Walt Disney Animated Classic PETER PAN, released in 1953, where the three Darling children embark on a great adventure in Never Land? No?
Dustin Hoffman played a very convincing pirate captain in the awesome old-skool movie Hook? The guy who played Peter Pan in that movie was non other than Robin Williams? Still doesn’t ring a bell?

The great news is that Sideshow Collectibles is going to release him and my, does he look good! Next to the normal edition which will be available at your local (web)shop, there’s also going to be an exclusive version. This one is only available on the official Sideshow site. The Sideshow Exclusive version includes an additional switch-out hook with Peter Pan’s hat for alternate display. Isn’t that neat?

Of course, this would be a lousy announcement post without some pictures. So here you go:

I really think they did a supreme job at capturing the spirit of this great character! And just look at cute lil’ol Tick-Tock.

For all of you that don’t know what a Premium Format is (shame on you!), here’s the summer-up:

1. Premium Format (or PF for short) means mixed media: usually polystone with real fabric.
2. PF’s are all the same size: 1/4 which means they’re big-ass !!!

3. The term PF is usually only for the mixed media statues from SideShow (the bastards! :p)

So, what do you think of this awesome statue? Is it a must buy, an easy pass or do you still need to think about it?
