And here’s my second Keumaya figure review. Although I could have done this together with the first one but I didn’t. Still not sure why…

Actually, this figure is almost the same as the Pink Goat Daughter with as only variation being the color scheme. So, if you want to know more about the origin, creator and some background, I suggest you read my previous review: Keumaya – Pink Goat Daughter [NSFW]
One of the main differences with this figure as opposite to the Pink Goat Daughter is the fact that we didn’t get her from a local store. We bought her on Ebay. Quite cheap actually. The main reason I bought her was to see the bootlegged version of her and compare it to the almost-100%-certain-official that I have. There were dead give-aways that this one would be a bootleg;
1. She was cheap (about 40euro then). Really real Keumaya figures tend to be quite expensive.
2. Almost all Keumaya figures are bootlegged so why would this one be different?
3. She had to come from China. And you probably know; China / Taiwan / Hong Kong = asking for bootlegs
Then you can probably imagine my surprise when she arrived in the same box as I bought my other two almost-100%-certain-official ones. Usually, even real good bootlegged figures, they got a slightly or more then slightly different box, artwork, quality, … But this one got exactly the same box as my other ones. Weird enough. On to inspecting the pieces.
And even now, when I’ve looked at them both for quite a while, I cannot say if they’re:
A) Both legit
B) Both bootlegs
C) Or the Black one is just a darn good bootleg (read: the same mold, painters and stuff)
Now, I’ve heard things about bootlegged figures with the only difference between them and the legit ones being the fact that they aren’t official. This might be the case with this one as well. Don’t know for sure though. Perhaps I’ll try to contact Keumaya him(?)self some day.
Actually, the conclusion of the Pink Goat Daughter also applies to this figure. I really like the design and the figure itself and the paint application are top notch. It’s a really good figure and personally I think that those bigger companies could really learn a thing or two from Keumaya.
So, I’ll say it again, if you like hentai figures or just sexy female figures, these are really a must to add to your collection. And this isn’t even the most interesting of all his figures!
