I’m Ikaryas, I’m the one who came up with this idea and decided on the name given to this little project. Did I Mention I’m Crazy comes forth out of the strange looks we get when people see our collection.

Did I Mention I'm Crazy?

Mission accomplished! I better inform the colonel…

I already told you that we only went to buy one statue from a fellow (ex) collector. Well, this was that statue… Strangely we arrived home with three. How did that happen? Ah well, I already talked about the Vega exclusive we bought so it’s time for the next one; Cammy.

Ingis really wanted this statue for a while but I wasn’t convinced. We’ve got a really nice PVC from Kaiyodo that I found nicer than this statue. Another major complain of mine was that she quite expensive right now and I really didn’t feel like starting with another line. When Jerry announced that he’s working on Chun-Li, Ingis and I agreed to only collect the females of this line. This was agreed for two reasons, one; I don’t really like the male characters/statues apart from Vega and M. Bison and two; most of the statues of this line are skyrocketing in price. Especially the exclusives and because we only collect the exclusives… Yeah, you get my point. We’re still just two students.

And then we got this amazing offer from a local collector who was looking to sell his collection. Well, initially we drove to collect Cammy but we ended up buying the three statues we liked from this line. Lucky us?! As you also might know, I don’t like buying second hand. So I was really happy to be able to buy the Cammy and Vega exclusive statues with inspecting them first. Mostly because these two had some real nasty problems. Some of the problems were the end of the strands of hair that were broken off, the small hair that didn’t fit (the one in her forehead), broken feet, not enough glue on the resin pieces so her legs came apart, …
So I’m so glad that next to no custom and shipping costs, I also got to inspect her real well before we bought her. And lucky us, she’s amazing!

This is one of the statues that are sculpted by the big PCS man himself; Jerry and he did a might good job. As I already said, I didn’t really like this statue before. I’ve never seen any good pictures made of her. On most her face looks a tad off. But having seen her in real now, I must admit that her face looks fine even though even I didn’t capture her face the full 100%. She still looks a lot better in real life.

The regular version was the Delta red Cammy, which means a green outfit, a red beret, greenish army boots and green camouflage instead of those blue lightning lines. This exclusive version is her Shadaloo outfit meaning different colors and a different hat. This is one of those statues that I’m debating on getting the regular as well since the outfits really are a lot different. If you follow this link, you’ll find the gallery for the regular Cammy.
Quite a difference no?

In the end I’m glad that I bought this statue. It did costs us a lot because we were crazy enough to buy three statues at the same time but looking back, I don’t regret it. I’m happy with all three and in the end, I do love this representation of Cammy. Now I’m looking forward for her companion Chun-Li.
I’m also very glad that we didn’t pay the crazy price she’s going for today.

Conclusion
If you’ve got a lot of patience and, not to forget, money, this statue shouldn’t be missing from your collection. The exclusive is already going for a lot of money and the regular isn’t that far behind. But if you like her, you won’t be disappointed, she’s well worth it!
