Who doesn’t know the superb game Ikaruga, originally for the Dreamcast and re-released for the Gamecube? We never had any pretty statues or stuff to show our love for this timeless game… That is, until now!
Kotobukiya is going to release something nice; a 1/144 scale Hitekkai (= Gunship) Ikaruga modelkit. Yeah, you’re reading it right; modelkit. Most of you, like myself, would say this very moment something like ‘ohhhh crap…’. Can’t really blame you.
Still, I’m very tempted to buy this one and hunting someone down who can paint and assemble this one for me. I mean, just look at this beauty:
The RP would be around 5,040 JPY, which is around 45EUR or 60USD. A local webshop already has it on pre-order for 49.90EUR (or 44.91EUR, go go membership :D) excluding shipping and it scheduled for August out here. I’m still on the fence on this one… How about you?
