I was skeptical about the Tomb Raider reboot last year but on the other hand, the series definitely needed a good reboot under it's arse. But when Ingis played it, my skepticism was replaced by optimism. I loved the reboot! And now, Gaming Heads is going to release a statue based on the young Lara Croft.

A short while ago, you could get the old Fallout games (1, 2 & Tactics) for free on GOG.com, which I did of course. These Vault Boy bobble heads by Gaming Heads, while not free, were also something I just had to have.

Remember me saying that it was awfully quiet lately? Well, not anymore... First Goro from Pop Culture Shock and now the new license announcement and first pre-orders from Gaming Heads. Yes, pre-orders. Multiple. From a game that has been mighty popular here at my school: Plants VS. Zombies!

It's quite rare that a statue manufacturer tries his hands on something else but today, it happened. Gaming Heads released their first plushies from the classic Doom series. And they're quite cuddly.

One of my favorite game series on the Playstation 2 has to be the Jak and Daxter series. Back in 2001, I fell in love with the first game and I wasn't the only one considering that they made some sequels (that weren't that bad either). Not only did the series get a re-release on the PS3 but also one of my favorite companies is going to release a statue based on the first game in their newest line; the Playstation All Stars!

That's odd... I could have sworn that I made a post about the first Portal Turret replica by Gaming Heads but apparently, I didn't write it... Must be because it sold out so fast that it didn't really matter anymore? I don't know... But what I do know is that they're releasing a second version and it's available for pre-order right now.

It doesn't happen often that I don't see things coming but today has been an off-day for me. First, I didn't expect that it would snow this much today. So much in fact that I've been having a rather boring day inside. Can't go to school and thus making all my assignments at home. And secondly, what I really didn't expect, at all, is that Gaming Heads would announce something today. And not just any announcement, no it's a new pre-order! And on top of that, it's also a brand new license! Here's the first statue in their The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim line; Dragonborn. At least, I think it's a line. Don't know for sure since it's isn't explicitly mentioned anywhere... Ah, well.

Thanks to the fact that I haven't had a lot of spare time the last couple of years, I have the feeling that I'm previewing stuff from games that I haven't played yet, quite often... Ah well. Doesn't mean I can't appreciate the art behind it. Also, the games are on my to-do list. The next item is from one of my favorite companies namely Gaming Heads. I've looked at GH products for quite a while and always kind of wanted the Left 4 Dead Tank and the Half-Life Headcrab Zombie. But those aren't really in Ingis' flavor  Like I said before, he doesn't really like horror-themed stuff. With me, it depends. But how could we say no to Half-Life's leading character: Gordon Freeman!

I like games, as you well know, and I also like merchandise of games more then any other type of collectible. And when one of my favourite companies releases a new statue for pre-order, it's quite easy to guess what will happen. Yes, I'll pre-order it instantly and usually make a post about it as well. So, there you go. You now know the reason of this post.
