Did I Mention I'm Crazy?

Sacrifice is a choice you make.

I was skeptical about the Tomb Raider reboot last year but on the other hand, the series definitely needed a good reboot under it’s arse. But when Ingis played it, my skepticism was replaced by optimism. I loved the reboot! And now, Gaming Heads is going to release a statue based on the young Lara Croft.

Lara set off on her first expedition to find the lost Japanese island of Yamatai, but ended up hunted by sadistic islanders after being shipwrecked. And that’s how Gaming Heads choose to depict her; on the rocky shore littered with wreckage, hurt and using the long bow she found and the pry axe she put together using scraps.

And my oh my, doesn’t she look grand. They’re really stepping up their game with this one, I just love the details they put into it. I just really hope that the factory can replicate all the smudges, scratches, wounds, … from the prototype. If they do, Gaming Heads is going to have its first true grail! They really nailed Lara’s look from the game and I can’t wait to have her in hand.

The exclusive version will have a combat shotgun, in addition to the bow, and an edition size of 500 pieces while the regular, without the shotgun, will have an edition size of 1.000. They’re still both available on the Gaming Heads website and they also offer a three-month payment plan if you want to spread it out a little.
