One of the only interesting product previews from Sideshow Collectibles on SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) was the Vampirella Premium Format. And finally, we’ve got the full review. And I saw it was goooooood!!!
Oh, on a side note… I know that Vampirella isn’t a vampire (technically) but I like that sentence 😀
The Vampirella PF was leaked a while before the official video was put online so a lot of people already knew about her. It’s actually kinda weird that SSC’s already making a PF from her since the -really nice- comiquette still hasn’t shipped yet. Quite some people are considering canceling the comiquette and switching to the PF instead. Can’t say I blame them. She looks so hawt! I hate it when people use that word written like that but personally, I agree on this one. I know, I’m not making sense. So, moving on.
I never really knew who or what Vampirella was or is but when we saw that PF, it was the last push we needed to look for the comics. And I must say, I like the comics. Only got the first three of the new series, but still, I’m intrigued. And I really like this statue… We’re still both on the fence for this one but we’ve got ’till Thursday to decide… To bad the bat logo isn’t applied on her ‘costume’. But I really like her! Argh, decisions, decisions…
As you can see on the pictures, the exclusive will include an additional portrait (the horny one) and the original artwork on which she’s inspired. What’s really weird is that the exclusive and the regular will have the same price, namely 349.99$ That’s weird… But lately, some statues are the same price. But why would people buy the regular then? My best guess is to avoid the customs. Well, since it’s exclusive or nothing, and because I really like that exclusive head, I say; Bring it on!
Oh, and the edition size for the exclusive will be 750 pieces worldwide. Now, on to the pictures!
