One of my favorite web-, and offline, comics has to be Nemu*Nemu. This extremely cute and funny comic started back in April 2006 and I’ve been following them since their third post or so.
But what is it about? Well, Nemu*Nemu is a comic series by Audra Furuichi and Scott Yoshinaga featuring two magical stuffed toy pups named Nemu and Anpan. Along with their owners Kana and Anise, they go on hilarious adventures exploring what it’s like to live in our world.
Even though the series has been ongoing for almost 7 years, it’s still stays fresh and a good read. But when I read their announcement post ‘Heyo 2013! State of the Comic‘ today, I almost cried. Just how horrible can people be? Especially that part about the Distributors just shocked me.
So, because I really want to help them out a bit with whatever I can do, I thought I’d let the world know what an awesome comic Nemu*Nemu is! You can start reading about the many adventures of the pups and their friends by following this link. The link will take you back to the beginning when all was white and black still. It’s great to see the evolution of the comic and their drawing styles. Even though they usually direct people to a certain story arc, I’d advice you to just start reading from the start.
When you’re starting to like them, you might want to take a look in their online store as well. And if you’re starting to like them as much as I do, you might even consider becoming a donor by sending $3,- each month to them. This is called a membership and while you’ll only get a free wallpaper each month, they’re planning on doing extra stuff for members as well.
You can follow them on Twitter or like them on Facebook.
