I haven’t played the games yet but Ingis has and I looked over his shoulder multiple times while he did. So I do know what went on and what happened with everybody. Kinda felt like a soap opera…

We’ve known for quite some time that Sideshow acquired the Mass Effect license and we’ve been waiting for any indication that they actually were doing something with it. Well, this SDCC we’ve finally saw the first ME statue. Naturally, it’s one of Commander Shepard. Male version. Of course.

And I have to say… I don’t like it. Don’t get me wrong. The details are amazing and the head sculpt is superb. And I like the exclusive feature being a switch-out helmet head.

What I simply don’t like about it is it’s stance. It looks so weird… Lose the gun, make a fist of that hand and it will definitely look a lot better. Just look at the last two pictures in the gallery in which I removed the gun and fabricated a fist kind of thingie. Yeah, it isn’t great and it would probably make my old art teacher cry, but you get the drift.

What’s also kind of weird is the fancy orange base (it lights up). It’s just too flashy. Although it does go great with the Omni-Tool. But the boyfriend likes so we’ll probably order him this Thursday…
