Did I Mention I'm Crazy?

Oh sorry, didn’t recognize you two in High Def.

Yeah, it’s been a while but I’m back with a new preview for you. Sooner then expected, Gaming Heads releases the second one in their Playstation All-Stars line. And it’s a duo I actually kinda expected regarding their first release of Jak & Daxter; Ratchet and Clank

Yes! They are going to make the other dynamic duo from the Playstation line-up! It makes me so happy I almost start to cry. Especially since Jak & Daxter came out looking just awesome. For those that don’t know who Ratchet or Clank are, here’s the rundown;

Ratchet and Clank first appeared in a game, with the same name, for the Playstation 2 back in 2002. After the successful release, the creators at Insomniac Games created a few more games for the different PlayStation consoles. The games that were released for the PlayStation Portable were developed by another company namely High Impact Games. Nonetheless, quite a few games have been released featuring this dynamic duo. And there’s even an animated feature film slated for next year!

The games take place in a science fiction setting and follow the adventures of Ratchet (an animalistic human-like character known as a Lombax, who is a mechanic) and Clank (a diminutive, sentient robot) as they travel through the universe, saving it from evil forces on a regular basis. The series is noted for the inclusion of many exotic and unique, over the top weapons and devices, a concept that Insomniac Games also expanded into their other games.

And Gaming Heads did an amazing job immortalizing these two! As with Jak & Daxter, these look like they just walked from the screen. Both the sculpt as the colors are spot on and they look great! And, unlike Jak & Daxter, I actually kinda like the exclusive this time around. The exclusive version is again a bronzified version of the regular but at least this time, it’s just one color which looks indefinitely better. But, the regular is still the way to go and I can’t wait to display my two favorite duo’s next to each other!

Now I’m just waiting on Rayman, Spyro the Dragon, Sly Cooper, Crash Bandicoot, Tomba, Sir Daniel Fortesque (MediEvil), Journeyer (Journey), Spike (Ape Escape), Patapons and even Kulche (LocoRoco) among others. But from that list, only Sly, Sir Daniel and Spike might actually make it if Gaming Heads only has the license for the All-Stars games. I sure do hope that they just got the license to make characters that are Playstation exclusives. Would be a shame otherwise.

I’m also hoping on supporting characters and bosses. Boy, having some bosses would rock! Bad guys are so underrated.
