    It’s so shiny…

It's even so shiny that you can see my reflection in some of the pictures. Now, that's what I call shiny!

    Some nice game merchandise announcements!

Two times a year there is the Tokyo Wonder Festival, at this moment the winter edition is almost at an end. At the same time in another continent, the NYC Toy Fair in full swing. Both fairs are announcing some pretty nice game related merchandise. We here at DIMIC are so friendly to share the news with our beloved readers. Yeah, I mean you...

    Figure, Review / November 4, 2011

    Link! Look out!

Quite a while ago I reviewed the first statue from the Master Arts line of First 4 Figures which was the incredible Zant. Now, almost a year after I pre-ordered it, it's the turn for the second statue of this series: Wolf Link and Midna. Even though I don't like one of F4F choices regarding this statue (namely; increasing the edition size after the initial pre-order opened), this statue is still well worth the wait.

Don’t forget… Now you and I are now true Brothers!

I've been waiting for this statue for quite a long time. I had it pre-ordered on the First4Figures website but canceled because I could get it a lot cheaper local. And since it didn't matter where I bought it, because there isn't an exclusive version and I already got a lot of different numbers in this line, I ordered it here. They almost made me regret it because they didn't contact me when it was in stock! A lot of trouble later, I'm holding the great Sage of Fire in my hands!

    Interview, News / June 20, 2011

All work and no play makes Kanako a dull girl

You probably already know that I like to question people and since the previous interview with Pop Culture Shock went really well I thought about interviewing another company. I thought long and hard and finally figured out which company/artist/person was next. This particular company also makes game related statues but no Capcom. They made the Sonics I already reviewed and a lot more that's on my to-do list. Of course, these will be reviewed after my last exam. Still have to do 2. Hence the fact that I haven't posted anything for a while. Bugger... Anyhow, this time, it's First 4 Figures their turn!

It is the magic of the King of Twilight, and you WILL respect it!

First4Figures is one of the few (if not the only) companies that makes decent Nintendo statues. Their biggest lines consist of The Legend of Zelda. This statue of Zant is the first one in their The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess 1/4 Scale “Master Arts” line. Big words for 'just another' Premium Format/Mixed Media.
