One of my favourite characters in the Mario universe has to be Yoshi. I love that green dinosaur and all his other coloured friends. Or are they family? Don’t know, but I love them! They’re cute, they’re fluffy and they can sing. What’s not to like?

So you’re probably not surprised when I say that one of my favourite games on the N64 is Yoshi’s Story. This game, although very easy, was super charming and fun to play. You played as one of the six Yoshi’s; green, dark blue, light blue, red, pink, yellow, and when unlocked, black or white and your goal is saving your world than was turned into a storybook. Or actually, saving the Super Happy Tree. To do so, you had to eat a lot, and I mean a lot of fruit. Yoshi’s love fruit so that’s no biggie.
This wasn’t actually the first time the different colored Yoshi’s appeared. The first encounter was Super Mario World on the SNES and later also in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island (also for the SNES). The last one was my absolute favorite game.
Anyhow, when I saw these colorful little critters on Play Asia a few years ago I just had to have them all. You know, collect them all. So we ordered them. Not that these little ones are from Yoshi’s Story nor from the SNES games mentioned, they’re actually from Yoshi’s Story DS. Also a lovely game.
A few weeks later a box arrived. A very, very small box… First we didn’t believe that the items in it would be the Yoshi’s but after opening, we concluded that they were indeed in there. We didn’t knew they would be so small! They’re about 15cm (roughly 6inch) tall so they easily fit in your hand. But I have to say that the smallness only add to their cuteness! And don’t forget their other quality; they’re extremely soft! I could cuddle them all day long. But then Ingis would get jealous…

All I have to say that if you like Yoshi or you got a girl that likes him, don’t hesitate! These are one of the few plushes that are still being restocked (which is quite rare) and fairly cheap to get. Add the cuteness and fluffiness and you can’t get wrong with buying them!
