Did I Mention I'm Crazy?

Hey, did you hurt yourself?

San Diego Comic Con started yesterday and holy moly, there are already pretty things announced. They’re just jumping around for my attention. If you are reading this blog regularly, you’ll know that we are really into games and everything around it. Something I love to do now and then is putting a good old fighter in a console and smash the buttons on the controller to lose from my girlfriend almost every single time. I know, frustrating, but I still haven’t found a support group for this problem…

Tekken is not really one my favorites in this genre but hey, everything deserves a chance. This series from Namco started in good ol’ 1994 and has got a lot of fans around the world. It’s a shame that there isn’t any really nice merchandise from this game. Until now…

Kotobukiya has a line called Bishoujo. Bishoujo translated from Japanese literally means “Beautiful young girl”. Koto is really expanding this line, they started with Marvel and DC girls, added recently their first movie related character to the series (a girl in Ghostbusters uniform) and are now starting with game related girls. Two things I like combined, girls and games, what can go wrong?

So the first two in this brand new game line are from Tekken. We have Christie Monteiro, introduced in Tekken 4 and an expert in Capoeira, and Alisa Bosconovitch, an android introduced in Tekken 6. They are both announced for this winter and will be 1/7th scale like all their DC girls and the most recent Marvel ones.
There’s already a painted prototype from Christie and luckily for us, there are still some nice people around who took some pictures. So, enjoy!!

Oh, and a little side note, think of the possibilities this line has. All those females in all those pretty games …
