I’m Ikaryas, I’m the one who came up with this idea and decided on the name given to this little project. Did I Mention I’m Crazy comes forth out of the strange looks we get when people see our collection.

Did I Mention I'm Crazy?

All right my turn.

Gaming Heads suddenly announced their brand, spanking new, Mass Effect line.

While I love the bust that we’ve received from the Bioware store, I was always hoping for a 1/4th scale representation of Shepard’s crew. For a while, I believed that Sideshow Collectibles would provide these but after their horrible version of the Commander, and hearing nothing about a new crew member, all hope was lost. That is, until Gaming Heads suddenly announced their brand, spanking new, Mass Effect line.

Apparently, I didn’t make a preview when Gaming Heads announced their first Mass Effect statue back May this year. Shame on me, I know. But better late than never, I’m going to talk about Garrus.

Garrus Vakarian is a military trained Turian and initially an investigating officer of C-Sec. After growing weary of the constant rules and restrictions of his current position, Garrus moved on to Commander Shepard’s team. Since fighting as a brother in arms with Shepard, Garrus has become a vital member of his squad, helping them in their battle to defeat the Reapers.

Always nice having a little introduction text ready and available. Like I said, Garrus is the first release from their new Mass Effect line and my, do I like! The sculpt, details and the paint application look amazing and equally important; spot-on. Depicted in his trademark armor, he’s armed with the Incisor Sniper Rifle and the exclusive even includes a Phaeston assault rifle. And what’s even neater is the fact that he’s 21 inches tall (~53cm), making him a 1/4th scale statue. So that makes him the perfect companion to our Sideshow Collectibles Commander Shepard until Gaming Heads releases a better version.

The regular will have an edition size of 1000 while the exclusive be half of that (500) which is a lot more than Shepard had with its 750/250 ES. I sure hope he will sell well so that we get the rest of the cast as well. If they do deliver him looking like the prototype, I have no doubt that he eventually will sell out and be a sought after piece.

I for one can’t wait till we have him in our collection.
